Daines Secures Montana Defense Priorities in Final Defense Bill, Passes out of Senate

Daines Announces over $400,000 for Rural Hospitals

U.S. SENATE – Senator Steve Daines today announced that Montana tribes will receive more than $1 million in funding for tribal transportation safety projects.  “These grants will provide Montana tribes with critical resources to improve transportation safety in their communities,” Daines states. “I look forward to seeing the tribes utilize these grants to improve highway safety for tribal members. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senator Steve Daines today announced more than $700,000 in funding for tribal public transit services for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, the Fort Belknap Indian Community and the Crow Tribe.
