Daines Heads to Eastern Europe to Visit US Troops, Meet with Key Leaders Amid Russia’s War of Aggression Against Ukraine

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines is heading to Eastern Europe to meet with leaders in countries bordering Ukraine. During his visit, Daines will also meet with U.S. troops and receive briefings at the MK Airbase in Romania near the Black Sea. Daines will meet with U.S., NATO, and foreign leaders in Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova. Daines Introduces Bipartisan Bill to Ban Russian Energy Imports

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today cosponsored a bipartisan bill to prohibit Russian crude oil, petroleum, petroleum products, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and coal imports. The bill will help American partners be less dependent on Russian energy.   “President Biden and the United States need to unleash American energy production and stop funding Putin’s ruthless war chest,” Daines said. Senate Democrats Block Daines’ Bill to Increase Traditional & Renewable American Energy Production

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today doubled down on his push to support Made in America energy. Daines Meets with Foreign Leaders and U.S. Troops in Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Steve Daines today announced that he recently returned from an official overseas congressional delegation trip to Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.   Daines had the opportunity to meet several Middle Eastern leaders and discuss political, economic and security issues facing Middle Eastern nations.
