Daines: We Shouldn’t Give One Penny to the Palestinian Authority So Long as They’re Providing “Pay to Slay” Payments to Terrorists Who Attack Israel
U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today introduced the “Taylor Force Martyr Payment Prevention Act” which would strengthen U.S. anti-terrorism financial regulations and deter foreign banks from making payments to the Palestinian Authority (PA) for its “pay-to-slay” program, which pays terrorists for carrying out acts of terrorism. “Israel is our strongest ally in the Middle East—we must stand with them in their fight against terrorism,” Daines said. “To this day, terrorists of Hamas are not only being idolized for suicide bombings, but they’re being paid significant sums of money to commit horrendous acts of terrorism. It’s time to close these loopholes and ensure that not another penny goes to terrorists committing these horrendous
Daines Defends Pro-Life Advocates, Slams Google for Politically-Motivated Censorship
U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines hand-delivered a letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, calling on Google to reverse its September 13th ban on Live Action’s pro-life advertisements promoting Heartbeat International’s Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) hotline. “As you know, Google’s international dominance in multiple fields of technology enables it to either safeguard or stifle the free expression of billions of people, including the communication of information that can save lives. Dan Newhouse, R-Washington. The version released

U.S. SENATE — Senate Democrats today voted against U.S. Senator Steve Daines’ effort to stop President Biden’s vaccine mandates that will hurt Montana small businesses, federal employees, federal contractors, healthcare workers and service members. “President Biden’s overreaching vaccine mandate will hurt Montana small businesses and force hardworking Montanans out of their jobs. Tonight, the Senate had a chance to help kill the mandate, yet every Senate Democrat, including the senior senator from Montana, chose to stand with Biden and voted against it. I won’t stop fighting until Biden’s mandates are no longer a reality,” Daines said. It’s estimated that about 130,000 Montanans will be
Daines’ Bipartisan Bill to Increase Access to Public Lands Discussed at Senate Hearing
U.S. SENATE — Today, the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee held a hearing on Senator Steve Daines’ bipartisan bill that will streamline the permitting process for outfitters and guides to help increase access to public lands and support small businesses. Watch and download the remarks HERE. “Because of Montana’s checkerboard land ownership patterns, a guided hunt often will cross into multiple land jurisdictions sometimes in just one day. Since each federal land agency has a separate permitting process, this means that guides and outfitters often have to go through multiple departments and permitting processes all for one trip. This is duplicative
