A lucky day for middle and high school students interested in pursuing careers in the U.S. Military, an information session was hosted by The Office of Senator Steve Daines at the Montana Air National Guard.
Representatives from the offices of Senator Daines, Senator Jon Tester and Representative Ryan Zinke were at the event. They were joined by officials from the U.S. Military, Naval, and Air Force academies, ROTC and many more were there to give out information.
“I think it’s important for people who are interested in a career in the service in the military to have an avenue to learn about what they need to do to pursue that career,” said Colonel Lee Smith, Wing Commander 120th Airlift Wing.
A nomination, usually from a member of Congress, is the first step in applying to one of the military academies.
