WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Steve Daines today met with Helena native Jordynn Hardman, the 2015 Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Champion for Montana.
Hardman discussed with Daines her journey to receiving a diagnosis, her plans to become a writer and the important role Children’s Miracle Network plays in her life.

“Jordynn is an incredible young woman who inspires others to live each day to the fullest,” Daines stated. “She is dedicated, smart and resilient and it was honor to be able to hear her story. Children’s Miracle Network has no better ambassador than Jordynn.”
“I loved meeting Senator Daines in D.C.,” Hardman stated. “I feel absolutely honored to represent our state and educate people on my illness.”
Jordynn Hardman suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis, a genetic disorder that causes non-malignant tumors to form in many different organs, primarily in the brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin and lungs.
Every year, Children’s Miracle Network Hospital identifies a child from each state with a remarkable medical story to serve as a Children’s Miracle Network Champion. These “Champions” serve as the ambassador for the organization to raise awareness and serve as a representative for the millions of children being treated at hospitals nationwide. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support 125 genetic and metabolic clinics throughout Montana.
