U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today was awarded with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious Spirit of Enterprise Award for his exemplary work in Congress in support of pro-growth, pro-job policies.
Daines was presented with this award following a roundtable discussion with Kalispell Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Intellectual Property Center on Montana jobs, the economy and the state’s growing technology sector.
“Small businesses are the backbone of Montana’s economy and I’m proud to be recognized on behalf of my efforts to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation,” Daines stated. “I will continue supporting policies that grow our economy and create more high-paying Montana jobs.”
The award was given in recognition of Daines’ work to pass legislation and enact policies that bolster the economy and create jobs.
Daines received this award in both 2014 and 2015.
