Two northcentral Montana health agencies will share $3.2 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., said Monday.
The Cascade City-County Health Department in Great Falls will receive $1,558,934 and Glacier Community Health Center Inc. in Cut Bank will get $1, 685,166, Daines said.
The funding was from the bipartisan FY2017 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Bill.
Daines said Montana’s community health centers are integral to providing high-quality, low-cost health care close to home.
