U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today released the following statement after President Donald Trump appointed Rodney Dean Ostermiller as United States Marshal for the District of Montana.
“Mr. Ostermiller has exemplified Montana’s spirit of service through his commitment to keep Montanans safe and give back to his community,” said Daines. “He is one of Montana’s finest and I know he will continue to do what it takes to protect Americans’ security.”

It is an honor and a privilege to receive the appointment of U.S. Marshal for the District of Montana,” said Mr. Ostermiller. “I look forward to serving my country and representing Montana in this new role as I work with law enforcement to keep our country safe.”
