U.S. SENATE —U.S. Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester and Congressman Greg Gianforte today announced academy nominee James Baggett’s offer of appointment at the U.S. Air Force Academy. James lives in Hamilton, Montana.
“From working on the Montana Conservation Corp Expedition Team, serving on student leadership, and taking an active role in extracurricular activities, James has proven he can excel in many areas,” said Daines. “I know he would make Montana proud at the U.S. Air Force Academy.”
“James is an accomplished student, trumpet soloist, and athlete,” said Tester. “He was awarded the prestigious U.S. Air Force Falcon Scholarship and I have no doubt that he’ll make Montana proud at the Air Force Academy. Hopefully we can perform taps together some day.”
