On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) explains why President Biden’s Keystone Pipeline policy his hurting the American worker and why Senate Democrats should not hold a second impeachment trial for former President Trump.
“They’ve become enemies now of the American worker. They talk about the green-on-blue fight that is occurring in the Democratic Party, the green green folks versus the blue collar. The Democrats have left the blue collar folks behind. That is why President Trump had such a strong following of American workers, because he was standing up for them. And unfortunately, we tried to warn the American people about where Biden’s going to take this country. And guess what? We’re not even a week into the administration and it’s coming true. Remember, he also got up his sleeve next, he’s going to put a moratorium, a permanent ban on future oil, natural gas and coal leases on federal lands. This is putting the country back in reverse, taking us back to the days of the Middle East dependencies for energy. We’ve become global energy dominant under President Trump because of the private sector and American innovation. Biden’s taking us back to the dark days of the 70s.”
“I’ve called on President Biden. If you want to unify the country, pick up the phone, call Pelosi, call Schumer and say stop. As somebody who’s took an oath to the Constitution here, last time I checked Article One, Section Three, it says when the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside. Well, the President is not being tried and the Chief Justice is not presiding. That ought to tell you alot.”
