U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines, top Republican on the Senate National Parks subcommittee, announced the passage of his bipartisan Senate resolution marking April 22, 2023 through April 30, 2023 as National Park Week. To start the week off, entrance into all national parks will be free tomorrow, Saturday, April 22nd.
“Our national parks help set us apart from the rest of the world, and in Montana we’re blessed to have some of the very best right in our backyard,” Senator Daines. “Each year we mark this week as National Park Week to celebrate our great outdoors and encourage folks to explore our nation’s national treasures. As a fifth generation Montanan, I know just how important our national parks are to our Montana way of life, and will always work hard to protect and preserve them for future generations.”
