U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today applauded a recent $2 million investment from GE Aerospace at its joint venture site in Butte, Montana. The investment will increase manufacturing of commercial and military aircraft engines by modernizing the facility’s layout.
“Thanks to Gov. Gianforte, Montana is a great place to live, work and grow a business and today’s announcement by GE proves that to be true once again. I’m glad to see this major investment by GE Aerospace at their joint venture site in Butte. Montana is a hub for technology and innovation, and GE Aerospace’s facility provides well-paying jobs for the community while increasing our country’s national security. I’ll continue to do everything I can to support manufacturing and production in our great state,” said Daines.
