Thanks President Trump for Eliminating Wasteful Spending in Monstrous Bill

U.S. Senator Steve Daines today voted on the Continuing Resolution to keep the government funded through March 14, 2025.

“I was firmly opposed to the over 1,500-page monstrosity before President Trump stepped in to eliminate egregious provisions and cut over 1,300 pages, including stopping a pay raise for Congress,” said Daines. “With President Trump’s help, we ensured that our troops get paid over the holidays, secured a year-long Farm Bill extension to provide certainty for Montana farmers and ranchers, and provided critical funding to repair the St. Mary’s siphons.”
