U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines is urging the United States Postal Service to continue service in Coram, Montana. In a letter to the USPS, Daines emphasized the critical work the USPS does to keep Montana communities like Coram connected, and stressed the importance of acting quickly to review a bid from the community.
Daines wrote, “Coram is a busy gateway to Glacier National Park and in an effort to avoid any disruption in service, I urge you to promptly review and provide all due consideration to the bid put forward by a member of the community, which I recently conveyed to United States Postal Service (USPS) headquarters,”
“Montanans rely upon the USPS for the timely delivery of everything from vital prescriptions to enabling rural small businesses to compete on the global stage and connecting families. I am a strong supporter of the USPS and ensuring it continues to serve Montanans from all corners of the state,” Daines continued.
