U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced that $847,000 will be granted to the City of Missoula to support the city’s Brooks Street planning study. This project aims to transform Brooks Street into a multi-modal corridor and would support good-paying Montana jobs and the local economy.
“I’m glad to see the City of Missoula receive these important resources to make Brooks Street businesses more accessible to Montanans and visitors. This grant will help support Montana jobs, transit and the local economy,” Daines said.
Daines voted for this funding in December 2020 and provided a letter of support for the application in June.
