U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced that $13,158,492.00 will be allocated to airports across Montana to expand and strengthen air travel infrastructure.
“I’m glad to see Montana airports receive this funding so they can support good-paying jobs and continue serving the growing number of Montanans and tourists who rely on air travel,” Daines said.
The $13,158,492.00 will be distributed to the following airports:
· $4,715,000.00 to Billings Logan International in Billings, MT to expand a terminal building.
· $5,000,000.00 to Glacier Park International in Kalispell, MT to expand a terminal building.
· $1,980,932.00 to Libby Airport in Libby, MT to reconstruct and rehabilitate taxiways, rehabilitate the runway and to seal the pavement surface and joints of the apron and taxilane.
· $1,462,560.00 to Thompson Falls Airport in Thompson Falls, MT to reconstruct the apron, runway and taxiway.
