U.S. SENATE —U.S. Senator Steve Daines is now accepting applications from young Montanans to compete for a nomination to be appointed to one of the United States Service Academies.
“It is a true honor to nominate Montana’s brightest and hardworking high school seniors to be appointed to one of our nation’s service academies,” Daines said. “The application process is critical to selecting well-qualified nominees, and I look forward to learning more about our state’s remarkable students.”
Making academy nominations is a top priority for Daines. To help with the process, Daines assembled the Academy Selection Board to help review the applications and interview each candidate.
Applications are being accepted through November 1, 2018. Those who wish to apply should submit a comprehensive application that showcases their academic, civic and athletic abilities, as well as their commitment to military service.
