Daines Announces $864,468 for Montana Health Centers

U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced $864,468.00 in funding for  Community Health Centers in Montana to provide improved continuity of care, mobile services to rural locations and increased access to affordable care. 

“Montana’s Community Health Centers provide reliable access to affordable healthcare close to home,” Daines stated. “I’m excited that there is more funding available to enhance the quality and reliability of care for Montanans.” 

The Department of Health and Human Services awarded grants to:

  • Billings: Yellowstone City & County Health Department: $70,807.00
  • Billings: Montana Migrant Council, Inc.: $46,504.00
  • Butte: Butte-Silver Bow Primary Health Care Clinic: $61,067.00
  • Chinook: Sweet Medical Center, Inc.: $42,246.00
  • Cut Bank: Glacier Community Health Center, Inc.: $44,146.00
  • Great Falls: Cascade City-County Health Department: $46,914.00
  • Hamilton: Sapphire Community Health, Inc.: $40,397.00
  • Hardin: Bighorn Valley Health Center: $43,114.00
  • Havre: Bullhook Community Health Center, Inc.: $47,349.00
  • Helena: County of Lewis & Clark: $50,680.00
  • Lewistown: Central Montana Community Health Center, Inc.: $43,500.00
  • Libby: Lincoln Community Health Center: $50,833.00
  • Livingston: Community Health Partners Inc.: $64,407.00
  • Kalispell: Flathead City – County Health Department: $56,147.00
  • Miles City: Custer County Community Health Center, Inc.: $42,030.00
  • Missoula: Missoula City/County Health Department Partnership: $67,509.00
  • Shelby: Marias Healthcare Services Inc.: $46,818.00

Daines secured funding for Community Health Centers in the bipartisan FY2017 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Bill.
